Hello, I am Saisha
I am a Provisional Psychologist and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with over five years of experience across disability, mental health and research sectors. My experience includes working as a therapy assistant, behaviour support practitioner, researcher, and university lecturer, supporting clients across the lifespan in hospitals, schools, supported independent living (SIL) homes, day programs, family homes, and via telehealth.
My practice is person-centred, strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming. I work collaboratively with clients, families and support teams, providing behaviour support, assessment and data collection, report writing, coaching and training, and individualised implementation of support plans. I have experience supporting people with neurodivergence, intellectual disability, anxiety and depression-related difficulties, emotion-based school avoidance, emotion dysregulation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and self-harm. I have also supported transitions from inpatient to community settings and the safe reduction of regulated restrictive practices through individualised planning, routine monitoring and collaborative implementation.
