At Lucas Support and Care, we believe quality support should be accessible and transparent.

We provide our Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services at rates aligned with current NDIS pricing arrangements for both NDIS and private clients.

Psychology

Medicare

Medicare covers $101.55, and you will have to pay the gap of $151.44 for a 50-minute session
You need a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHCP) and a referral from your GP or eligible specialist
Travel is not supported

$126.50 per hour + $1/km for travel + any non-labour travel fees (e.g. tolls)
You need a valid NDIS plan funded under 'Improved Daily Living'

Private

$252.99 per hour
You may be able to claim a rebate through your private health insurance

Positive Behaviour Support

$252.99 per hour for direct and non-face-to-face services
$126.50 per hour + $1/km for travel + any non-labour travel fees (e.g. tolls)
You need a valid NDIS plan funded under 'Improved Relationships' or 'Behaviour Support'

Private

Clinical Supervision

For comparison, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule of Suggested Fees for 2026-2027 recommends $330 for a standard 46-60 minute consultation, meaning our fees remain substantially below the APS suggested private practice rate.
