Hello, I am Ryland!

I am a Registered Psychologist and a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
I was first drawn to psychology after identifying my own ADHD, which made me want to support others in a similar way. I have over five years of experience in the psychology space, working with people across the lifespan in OOHC, disability, aged care and workplace settings, including time as a Team Leader in Positive Behaviour Support and at the university, supporting psychology students.

Some example presentations I have worked with directly include autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia/Alzheimer's and behaviours of concern. I typically draw on CBT, ACT and solution-focused approaches, and aim to work in a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed way, with strong collaboration around the person's environment.
